According to legend, that was the story that Ernest Hemingway wrote in just six words. Apparently he was challenged by colleagues to craft a story in just six words (or was the challenge ten...?), and thus he wrote "Baby Shoes."
And the legend lives... many a website exists to this six word story challenge. NPR occasionally broadcast "The Race Card" where people write in six words, their thoughts and feelings about race. So my point is this has been done before, but I am going to do it again. In this blog of random bursts of creativity, I will include my own six word stories. If you, dear intrepid reader, would like to submit your own stories here, please feel free to. Someday I will figure out how to make this a little more user friendly for adding submissions just in case any one out there is so inclined. Until them, I respectfully submit the following stories. I am, however, slightly modifying my stories by giving them titles which of course adds a little more to the story... provides some direction. Here you go!
